The Porphyria Centre of Rome offers diagnosis and treatment of all type of porphyrias, in collaboration with clinicians specialized in different fields. A dedicated porphyria laboratory offers full diagnostic service including biochemical classification of all type of porphyria and genetic identification of mutations. It participates to different clinical trials. Both clinical and laboratory qualified staff offer expert advice to physicians, health care professionals, patients and families.
