Activities:
• Analysis of total and fractionated porphyrins from urine and plasma samples by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.
• Analysis of δ-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and porphobilinogen (PBG) from urine samples by spectrophotometer.
• When needed for differential diagnosis of types of porphyria, fecal porphyrin analysis by HPLC-FL and plasma-fluorescence emission scan.
